History

Trimble Insurance Agency was originally founded in 1946 by J.C. (Joy) Graham. Joy was a prominent farmer in the Ashley/Delaware Ohio community and began to sell auto insurance through the Grange program to fellow farmers. Joy was not only fullfilling a need for an insurance agency in the community, his strong farming work ethic and family values laid the foundation for Trimble Insurance Agency and for the generations to come.

Joy’s daughter, Twila, married her high-school sweetheart, Howard Trimble, and partnered with Joy to create the Graham-Trimble Insurance Agency in 1961.

Howard and Twila moved the agency from Ashley, OH to Delaware, OH in 1975 to the location where the office currently resides.

Trimble Insurance has a strong family lineage. Greg Trimble (son of Twila and Howard) joined the agency in 1981 and has taken the business to new heights since his arrival.

Kim Trimble-Davis, Greg’s Cousin, also adds to the family history. She joined the agency as an agent in 1987.

In 2014, Trimble Insurance Agency was pleased to add its fourth generation. Kirt Trimble, Greg’s son, joined the agency as a Risk Management Advisor after a career working in various roles for a Columbus-based insurance company.

Community

Trimble Insurance Agency serves all of Ohio with a strong focus on the communities of Columbus, Delaware, Powell, Lewis Center, Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, Sunbury, Galena, Ashley, Ostrander and surrounding areas.

We’re active in the communities we serve. We support The Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, People in Need of Delaware County, Delaware Community Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio, Road Riders for Jesus, Delaware County Fair, Junior 4H, and the Little Brown Jug race.
